We at Exec are big believers in giving back. But we also understand that not everyone has the option of giving their time to help a good cause - often because you are spending all of your waking hours tending to your business, or family (or both).
Charities are often in need of more than just money - they need capable and intelligent folk to help them manage the huge amounts of work it takes to keep a good cause running. So one day at Exec we were wondering - how can we make it possible to donate time instead of money, without losing a step?
And then it hit us. As the best way to match fantastic workers with people who need things done, we're excited to announce a new way to give: you can now get Exec to volunteer on your behalf!
We've partnered with three great local charities who are always in need of more help getting things done: Mission Graduates, which helps SF Bay area kids go to college;
Appleseeds - a film that's raising awareness to help stop domestic violence; and KEEN , which uses sports to build the self-esteem and confidence of kids with disabilities.
Here's where you come in - go to Exec and pick whatever cause you are most passionate about helping, and then decide how much time you'd like to give. We'll send an Exec to volunteer on your behalf at the charity of your choice, and help them with whatever they need most - from making much-needed updates to donor records, to helping to plan and put on fundraising events, to mentoring and playing sports with at-risk kids.
We'll be supporting this program for the next month (now through the end of August), and we'll be donating 100% of all proceeds raised. So go ahead - give some time to a worthy cause through Exec. You can donate here!
Thanks,
The Exec Team
